Please note that the service may require the signature of several parties. In these cases, the people concerned will automatically be sent a special form for signing in Altinn.

This service can be used by anyone who wishes to apply for a change to their own name or their child's name.

The sender must be over 16 years of age and resident in Norway.

For applications concerning a change of name for a child, the sender must have a share in the parental responsibility. The child must also be resident in Norway.

 

This service requires logging on at security level 3 or higher (MinID or equivalent).
