Amateur radio licences
Anyone wishing to contact other amateur radio users around the world using a radio transmitter and receiver can apply for an amateur radio license.

In order to be assigned an amateur radio license, the applicant must sit an exam that is organised and graded by Nkom. Upon passing the exam, the applicant will be assigned a license with a personal call sign.
Applications must be sent to Norsk Radio Relæ Liga (NRRL) which is responsible for the practical implementation of the exam.
Fee:
The holder of an amateur radio license must pay a fee of NOK 2,000 upon being awarded the license.
Passed the amateur radio exam.
