The form is used when doctors with specialist approval from a foreign country applies to the Norwegian Directorate of Health for Norwegian specialist approval. A Norwegian authorisation as a doctor is a prerequisite to submitting the form.

If you do not have a Norwegian personal identification number or a D number, you need to contact us on godkjenning@helsedir.no, as you will not be able to log in to the application form.

The Directorate of Health can, in accordance with the Specialist Regulation. require a specific type of application.
